MOTION PACKAGE
In collaboration with Bungie and PlayStation Studios, I helped develop the look and animations for show-stopping motion graphics shots for 2024’s Destiny 2 Guardian Games Trailer, including title cards and vfx treatments for game capture.

PRE-LAUNCH
In collaboration with Bungie and Playstation Studios, I helped develop the look and animations for show-stopping motion graphics shots for 2024’s Destiny 2 Guardian Games Trailer, including title cards and vfx treatments for game capture.
WHAT WE DID
STYLE DEVELOPMENT
Explored ways to achieve looks and animations laid out in storyboards.
Ensured that animation approaches would be foolproof for external localization.
Designed an animation system based on existing event branding and utilizing composited game capture.
TRAILER DELIVERABLES
We made:
8 title cards
2 end cards
9 interstitial vfx composites
Additional versions in 9×16 and 1×1 aspect ratios tailored for social platforms
Delivered an easy-to-use, plug-and-play After Effects project for localization agencies including:
Organized folder structure
Clear and detailed naming
IMPACT
Bolstered stand-out moments in the trailer to get Destiny 2 players to rally with their in-game classes and contribute to the communal sense of competition for this event.
Expanded on the existing animation style for Guardian Games while adding some memorable annual flair.
